Should our church sing Bethel Music worship songs?
A frequent question I hear has to do with the music being made by groups coming out of Bethel Redding and other churches that have New Apostolic Reformation beliefs. The question is, is it OK to sing their songs as long as the lyrics don't contain any error?

I wanted to share a reader comment here because I think the commenter raises a strong argument against Bill Johnson's teaching that God never uses sickness or disease to teach his children a lesson.
God's indeed a good Father--how NAR leaders have twisted a biblical truth
Christians would agree: God is good. But not every Christian would agree with what that means exactly. For instance, could God, as a good father, ever use a sickness, disease, or other type of suffering to teach his children a lesson?

When I attended the Firestarters adult Sunday School class at Bethel Church in Redding, California, I was shocked by the teacher's announcement at the start of the class. "There are only three rules in this class. Rule 1: Get drunk. Rule 2: Stay drunk. Rule 3: Get other people drunk."
